Hi, I’m Saad Nasir, a .NET backend & microservices engineer.

I build reliable, well-isolated server-side systems, from multi-tenant SaaS platforms to the event-driven services, integrations, and reporting that hold them together.

What I help with

Most of my work is one of these: usually on a system that already exists and now has to carry more load, more tenants, or more integrations than it was built for.

Multi-tenant SaaS architecture

Move from single-tenant to multi-tenant without a rewrite. Tenant resolution, data isolation, and master-database metadata, supporting both shared-database and isolated-database (multi-DB) models.

Event-driven microservices

Decouple services with MassTransit and RabbitMQ: asynchronous messaging, background consumers, and retry/fault handling that keeps the system reliable when a dependency is down.

Third-party & API integrations

Connect your platform to external systems over REST: background sync consumers, webhook handling, and defensive error handling for flaky upstreams.

SQL Server performance & reporting

Aggregation-heavy reports and exports, plus stored procedures tuned for reporting workloads to bring query times and lock contention down as data grows.

E-commerce platform extensions

Custom plugins for AbleCommerce and NopCommerce: catalog and product-API import, FAQ / Q&A modules, and storefront features built to the platform's own conventions.

CI/CD & deployment

GitHub Actions pipelines, containerised builds, and Linux/VM deployments so releases are repeatable instead of manual.

Software Engineer (.NET Core) · Insignia Business Solutions

  • Led the migration of a single-tenant platform to multi-tenant, supporting both shared-database and isolated-database (multi-DB) tenancy.
  • Designed tenant resolution and data-isolation mechanisms, including a master database for tenant metadata and provisioning state.
  • Moved service-to-service communication onto MassTransit and RabbitMQ, decoupling the services and keeping the system responsive when a dependency is slow.
  • Integrated the core platform with external applications through REST APIs and background consumers.
  • Built reporting with complex aggregation and export, and rewrote the SQL Server stored procedures behind it to cut execution time under load.

  • Built AbleCommerce plugins (a FAQ system and a generic Product-API consumer) with .NET and NHibernate.
  • Created an open-source Q&A plugin for NopCommerce with .NET Core and LINQ to DB; it has since been forked by other developers.
  • Built a full-stack web application for a customer-care agency with .NET Core, Razor and SQL Server.

About

I’m a .NET engineer in Lahore, Pakistan who has spent the last few years on backend systems for SaaS and e-commerce products. Most of that time has gone into the parts that don’t demo well but decide whether a product scales: tenant isolation, messaging, and query performance.

The work I’m best at is the awkward middle stage: a single-tenant app that now needs isolation, services that call each other synchronously and fail together, a report that times out. I’d rather fix those in place than argue for a rewrite.

Between engagements I build to stay sharp: a multi-tenant orchestration platform, a .NET toolkit for LLM function-calling, and a handful of smaller tools, all on GitHub.
